About The Artist:Michael Stringfield says "I'm a 23-year-old film student at the Art Institute of Portland. I'm on a
journey, a journey to bring humor back into this world. And I will do this,
amongst many other things. I want to cry from laughing. I want to keep picking
fresh blackberries from my neighbors yard. I want to smell bacon and eggs
accompanied by a warm cup of coffee in my hands at 7 a.m."

created by our perception, but it’s within everyone’s grasp. You know that scary
feeling when you laugh so hard that you can’t breathe? That’s what I want people
to experience, and not just one time, but over and over again. I want people to
expand their footsteps along the granite floors of Yosemite falls, and to drive aimlessly along the coast,
only stopping at a heart’s motivation. Beauty is a gift, a gift that can only be
seen by our own eyes. I know my life will be full of beauty and love. I
guarantee it, and whether or not you’ll see that through my art, that’s up to
